Balance
Where the racket's centre of weight sits. A high
balance puts the weight towards the head (powerful, slower);
a low balance puts it towards the handle (nimble,
kinder on the elbow).
Bandeja
A half-power smash with side-cut, used to
answer a lob while holding your position
at the net.
Bumper / Protector
The protective rubber around the edge of the head. A
consumable — wear here is normal and does not lower
the condition rating.
Core
The foam inside the head of the racket. EVA Soft is
cushioned and comfortable, EVA Hard is fast and powerful, FOAM is the
softest of all but breaks down sooner.
Diamond
A head shape with a small, high sweet spot.
The most powerful and the least forgiving.
Condition rating (100–90)
TOKOPDL's assessment of the physical condition of a used racket.

3K / 12K / 18K carbon
How tightly the carbon fibre on the face
is woven. The higher the number, the stiffer the
racket — more precise control and feedback, but less forgiving.
Overgrip
The wrap around the handle that you can
replace yourself. It changes how a racket feels far more
than people expect.
Round
A round head shape. The largest sweet spot, sitting in
the middle — the most forgiving and the most controlled.
Sweet spot
The area of the face that gives the best rebound. The
wider it is, the kinder the racket is to a shot that is
slightly off.
Teardrop
A head shape halfway between round and diamond. The
middle road between power and control; the most popular
choice among intermediate players.
Trade-in
Handing in your old racket as a discount against
a new one. At TOKOPDL it is worth Rp
200,000 more than selling it outright.
Single unit
Every used racket has its own code and there is only
one of it. It is not stock that can be reordered.
Vibora
A smash with a sharper side-cut than the bandeja —
the ball bounces low and spins away out
of the court.
